Who am I?
Where I am from
I grew up in the north of Germany in the seaside town of Scharbeutz and graduated from high school in the nearby town of Timmendorfer Strand. After my graduation and many years in high-performance sports, I pursued my love to travel and interest in different cultures and spent almost a year in Latin America.
Professional sports
From my time in competitive aerobic gymnastics, I know what it means to prepare precisely for competitions and to constantly work on yourself. Through the many years in the national team and the trips to European and World Championships, I learned what it means to be able to show your top performance at the right time. Also the time as an athlete representative, and thus being part of a technical committee, shaped my time in competitive sports and showed me the sports system from another side.
I myself began early on to visualize my competition exercises both in training and in direct competition preparation in order to improve my skills and feel a greater sense of security in competition.
In the process, the enthusiasm for a mental training in sports has grown for me.
The foundations of my work
The own practical activities create for me the most important basis of my sport psychological work. In the last two years I was able to build up various experiences in individual coaching, trainer workshops and working with a team by coaching different athletes and teams in the 1st and 2nd national league of various sports.
For my academic career I studied the following courses in Bremen and Berlin:
Study of Sport psychologiy Sport psychogological consulting at the BSP-University Berlin (M.Sc.)
Study of Sociology at the University of Bremen (B.A.)
